LYRICS
So full of good intentions, know what you need
A place in a dream will be yours, and our wishes for you to succeed
We talk about it often, but somehow through the years
There's no revelation, and more limitation
Beset by indecision, you'll never find perfection
Lost in a state of confusion, and another year older
Time drifts away, more every day
Kenny, don't dream your life away

LYRICS
We haven't talked in ages
Looks like we've reached the close of our time
Years of unlikely friendship
Finally sees the end of the line
When I look back on those days
All becomes much clearer
I was the first of many a hero
You gathered along your journey
But now eclipsed by others
And our bond is melting away
There'll be no more songs left to play
You needed affirmation
And it was my pleasure
Now that we move in different circles
The larks we enjoyed are a memory
And this is my conclusion
That our bond is melting away
Now we know it was ephemeral
We haven't talked in ages
Looks like we've reached the close of our time
We said goodbye to friends who departed
And shared in the sorrow united
But now it is with sadness
That our bond is melting away
There'll be no more songs left to play
No more we can say
Now we know it was ephemeral
My friend
